Mosaicer is about creating mosaics from images online.
It involves combining thousands of images in order to create a single image of your
choice.
Here is an example, click it to view the image in full size (it will open in a new
window):
To zoom in and out in the image:
ctrl+/ctrl- in Explorer 7, Alt+/Alt- in Explorer 6
FF does not have these shortcuts yet.
Just like the
mosaicer page , the instructions are splitted to 3 simple steps.
Step 1 - Selecting The Mosaiced Image
Selecting the mosaiced image
In this step, you need to select which image will be mosaiced.
There are two methods to
select images:
- Uploading an image -To upload an
image from your computer, Click "Browse...", choose an image to upload, and click
"Upload Image". Please be aware that uploading an image may take some time.
- Loading an image from the web:
If you wish to load a specific
image from the internet, enter its address in the
right text box, and click the
"Load Image" button.
Finding the address of an image is easy, simply right
click it, and copy the location.
After the image is loaded, you will be able to see it, just like in the following
picture:
Moving to the next step
after you are finished selecting the montaged image, you can move to the next step.
Step 2 - Additional Options (Optional...)
Further Design Your Mosaic
- Image's size of the mosaic pattern:
The size of the small images in the mosaic.
- Morph result towards source
image: The morph effect slighty changes the resulting image to make
it look more like the
original image. It does so with minimal change to the small images.
Step 3 - Create the Mosaic
The Final Step!
Click the "Create Mosaic" button, and view your mosaic!
Please be aware that creating a mosaic requires plenty calculations, and may take
up to a minute or two.
You can also any properties in the previous steps, and click
"Create Mosaic" again.
Full Size View
Click the mosaic to view it in full size. It will open in a new window. The mosaiced
image is large and may
take some time to load if you have a slow connection.
Saving The MosaicYou can save the montage to your computer by right clicking the it, and choosing "Save Picture As..." ("Save Image As..." in FireFox).
