Images Background
In this step, you need to select which images will appear in the background.
There four methods to select images:

• Search term - you enter a search term, and images which are related to this term will be loaded. you search for a term by simply writing it in the top text box (where green is written) and clicking the top "Search..." button.
  you can determine how many images will be searched for using the slider below the text box.
• Specific website: entering an address of a website (where montagerator.com is written), and images from that website will be loaded. You search a website by entering its address in the second text box, and clicking the second "Search..." button.
• Specific Image: If you wish to load a specific image from the internet, enter its address in the third text box (where http://www.cnn.com/example.jpg is written), and click the "Load Image" button.
  Finding the address of an image is easy, simply right click it, and copy the location.
• Uploading Images: You can upload images from your own computer. Click browse and choose the images you wish to upload, then click "Upload". You can upload up to 4 images at each click. Uploading may take time so be patience.

After selecting the images, they will appear in the following panel:

• Selecting/Deselecting images:
  You can select and deselect quickly by clicking the "Select All" "Deselect All" or buttons.
• Removing an image:
  Simply click the check box above it, and click "Remove Selected".
• Removing all images:
  click "Remove All" to remove all images".
  

Gradient Background

If you wish the background to be composed of gradually changing colors, click the "Gradient" button. The following panel will appear:

In this panel, simply select the two colors of which the background will be composed.
You can return to images background by clicking the "Images" button.

Moving to the next step
after you are finished selecting background images, or, gradient colors, you can move to the next step.

Select Montage Text
Enter the text at the top text box. Leave it blank if you wish not to include text in the montage.
Tip: Split your text in to few lines, it will make the font of the text in the final montage bigger.

To design the text, follow the steps described in the previous step.

Moving to the next step
after you are finished selecting text images, or, gradient colors, you can move to the next step.

Further Design Your Montage

• Font Properties: The font of the montage
• Bold: Whether the text in the montage will be bold.
• Underline: Whether the text in the montage will be underlined
• Horizontal Alignment: Whether the text in the montage will be aligned to the left, center, or right
• Vertical Alignment: Whether the text in the montage will be aligned to the top, center, or bottom
• Apply Background/Text Filter: This is a cool feature! It applies special effects on the result montage.

  Montage Size: You can select the exact size of the montage, either by selecting a value from the list, or choosing "Custom..." and setting these four properties:
     1. Columns - How many columns of images will appear in the montage background.
     2. Rows - How many rows of images will appear in the montage background.
     3. Sub image width - The width of each image in the montage.
     4. Sub image height - The height of each image in the montage.
  

The Final Step!
Click the "Create Montage" button, and view your montage!
If you don't like the result, you can click "Create Montage" again, and a new montage will be generated.
You can also any properties in the previous steps, and click "Create Montage" again.

Click the montage to view it in full size.
Saving The Montage
You can save the montage to your computer by right clicking the it, and choosing "Save Picture As..." ("Save Image As..." in FireFox).
Sending The Montage To Friends
You can email the montage to your friends by filling your name, the content of the email, and your friend's address.
Then, click "Send".
You can repeat this process as many times you want, and send the montage to many friends!
